Here at Flightlink Chauffeurs, the wellbeing of our passengers, chauffeurs and employees is our number one priority.

With health and safety at the forefront of everyone’s mind, we continue to offer a full service to all our customers for their essential travel needs.

As the government announces new or additional measures to manage the spread of COVID-19, we review and refine our guidelines and policies and implement new initiatives to protect our passengers and employees.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

The UK Government has released Public Health England (PHE) guidelines which are at the core of our policy.

In accordance with these guidelines, a comprehensive risk assessment was conducted in line with our ISO900:2015 operating standards to set out clear direction for our office staff, chauffeurs, and our passengers.  This can be shared on request.

In addition to this, Flightlink has made important amendments to procedures making the service safer as well as maintain service continuity.

OUR OFFICE

Good working practices in line with PHE guidelines, are continuously reinforced to employees and chauffeurs to prevent spreading COVID-19.

There are sufficient cleaning, handwashing, and hygiene facilities/materials in place to support all staff and visitors coming into the office, supported by clear signage.

OUR FLEET

We understand that people may have concerns about travelling in private hire vehicles during this time, however this is far safer than public transport.

We have different vehicle options in our fleet where passengers can travel in comfort and safety.

We can provide seven-seater and eight-seater vehicles which offer passengers sitting in the rear seats additional social distance and peace of mind.

We are not allowing customers to travel in the front passenger seat for this very reason.

Vehicle hygiene: All our vehicles will still undergo a full valet before each day of use.  In addition to this, special attention is applied to regular touch points and surfaces including door handles, window buttons, seatbelt clips, using sanitising products.

OUR CHAUFFEURS

We are providing a range of protective equipment to our chauffeurs including protective masks, hand-sanitiser gels, disinfectant spray, cleaning cloths and sanitising wipes.

When the vehicles are out on the road our chauffeurs are able to wipe down surfaces before and after each journey/passenger, paying special attention to passenger touch points in the vehicle.

In addition to this, we have subscribed to the Government Workplace Testing Programme and our team are conducting rapid lateral flow testing bi-weekly, to ensure the safety of our people and passengers

OUR PASSENGERS

We are asking passengers to follow government guidance
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-safer-travel-guidance-for-passengers where it is explained that passengers should wear a face covering in private hire vehicles.  Passengers should ensure they are not exhibiting symptoms associated with COVID-19 before they book with us, and state this in the booking flow.

We look forward to welcoming you on board and providing a COVID secure service
